I know things are really difficult for all of us who are *feelers* right now, as we're being constantly barraged by bad news. It's really important right now more than ever that we don't get sucked into focusing on the worst things, that we don't collapse under the weight of the world, and that we don't give up on making the world a better place.
Making the world better can be something like making a small social connection with someone in your local community (I'm partial to "visit your local herbalist for a chat"!), or it could be something larger, like helping a community through a disaster.
It's really important to "look for the helpers" as Mr. Rogers said, and you can almost always be one of the helpers. You all are what helps ease my soul through times like this!
We are a drop off site for NHMARF regularly, but we are also currently a drop off site for Disaster Relief. One of many local drop off sites, organized by NHMARF, working with MADR to get items where they need to go.
